About the Role

Yasmina British Academy in Abu Dhabi is seeking an outstanding Teacher of Further Mathematics at A-Level to join the school for the academic year 2026-2027. Additionally, this full-time teaching position involves delivering engaging further mathematics lessons up to GCSE and A-Level standard that challenge students and promote critical thinking. Key Responsibilities

As a Further Mathematics Teacher, you will create a climate conducive to outstanding learning and teaching while identifying clear teaching objectives and specifying assessment methods. Moreover, you will set tasks that challenge students and ensure high levels of interest while building on prior attainment. In addition, you will make effective use of performance data and key indicators to inform planning and deliver differentiated learning matched to student needs. Furthermore, you will mark and monitor students’ work, set targets for progress, and assess and record students’ progress systematically. You will also contribute to the corporate life of the academy through participation in meetings, open evenings, and extracurricular activities.

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education or a relevant field with a teaching qualification. Additionally, a minimum of two years of experience teaching further mathematics up to GCSE and A-Level is required. Moreover, candidates should demonstrate a passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child with a high level of professionalism. Furthermore, experience working with students for whom English is not their first language is valued, along with recent involvement in extracurricular activities and a clean DBS check.
