About the Role

As a French Teacher at Aldar Education, you will deliver inspiring French language lessons that help students succeed and achieve the best possible outcomes. Furthermore, you will plan and present sessions that cater to the needs of the whole ability range while motivating pupils with enthusiastic and imaginative teaching. Moreover, the role involves working collaboratively with fellow teachers, supporting student development through assessment and data analysis, and contributing to the wider life of the school through extra-curricular activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging French language lessons that inspire students to succeed across the ability range
• Plan, prepare, and present sessions that cater to the needs of all learners
• Organise classroom provision and learning resources to create a positive learning environment
• Observe and assess children in line with school assessment frameworks using Target Tracker
• Use assessment data to influence further planning, provision, and intervention
• Provide feedback to parents on student progress at parent-teacher conferences
• Work alongside fellow teachers to plan lessons meeting curriculum requirements
• Run a weekly ECA each term and support school events and activities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in French or related subject with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
• Minimum 1-2 years of French teaching experience
• Previous experience working with students for whom English is not their first language
• Passion for teaching and commitment to educating the whole child
• Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities
• A positive and solution-focused attitude to working life
• A clean enhanced DBS check or police clearance
