Job Description
NAFFCO presently has a job opening for suitably qualified and experienced candidate for position of a Fire Fighting Technician (Mechanical) in Jebel Ali Free zone، South Area، Jebel Ali Free Zone Street, Dubai, UAE. This is an Entry level full time job. And salary can range between 1700-2500 AED/month.
Job Description of Fire Fighting Technician
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of firefighting equipment to ensure optimal functionality during emergencies.
- Utilize advanced firefighting techniques and equipment, including hoses, extinguishers, and aerial ladders, while adhering to safety regulations.
- Collaborate with emergency response teams to coordinate fire suppression efforts and ensure timely evacuation of affected areas.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment inspections, training sessions, and incident reports to support compliance and operational efficiency.
- Stay physically fit and prepared for the demands of firefighting tasks, including climbing, lifting, and operating heavy equipment.
Desired Candidate Profile
- High school diploma or equivalent; a degree in fire science or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in firefighting or emergency services is required.
- Strong technical skills in operating firefighting systems, tools, and equipment are crucial.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and quick decision-making capabilities under pressure.
- Physical fitness is essential, including stamina, strength, and the ability to perform strenuous tasks in challenging environments.
