Additionally, this role offers the opportunity to manage school finances at the newest flagship Aldar Education school on Yas Island.

About the Role

As Finance Officer at Noya British School, you will respond to parent enquiries related to finance and admissions, manage tuition fee collection, and follow up on late payments. Furthermore, you will handle petty cash reconciliation, prepare bank collection reports, manage trip and activity collections, and monitor department budgets. The successful candidate will prepare monthly income and expenditure statements for Heads of Department and the Principal while coordinating with the examinations officer on external exam fee collection.

Key Responsibilities

• Respond to parent requirements and enquiries related to finance and admissions
• Manage the collection of tuition fees and follow up on late payments
• Handle petty cash including reconciliation and replenishment
• Prepare bank collection reports and undertake cheque scanning
• Manage trip and activity collections, student lists, and related information
• Monitor department budgets and prepare monthly income and expenditure statements
• Manage stationery, textbook, and library book orders for the school
• Coordinate with the examinations officer on external exam fee management

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• Minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role in the region
• Customer service experience is required
• Experience in the education sector is preferred
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and oral
• Excellent office management skills and computer literacy (fluency in Arabic is preferable)
