Park Hyatt Dubai is presently accepting applications from suitable candidate for the job role of Finance Manager. The jobholder is responsible for the efficient running of the department in line with Hyatt International’s Corporate Strategies and brand standards, whilst meeting employee, guest and owner expectations.

Responsibilities of Finance Manager

• Oversee all financial operations of the Park Hyatt Dubai, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Prepare timely and insightful financial reports for senior management, highlighting trends and actionable insights.
• Develop and manage annual operating budgets, rigorously monitoring and mitigating variances.
• Implement strategic revenue management practices, optimizing room rates and distribution channels to maximize RevPAR.
• Drive cost control initiatives across departments, negotiating favorable vendor contracts and identifying efficiency opportunities.
• Lead and motivate a team of finance professionals, providing coaching and fostering a positive work environment.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable efficiently, ensuring timely payments and accurate record-keeping.
• Maintain impeccable tax compliance, preparing and filing returns and liaising with relevant authorities.
• Implement and monitor robust internal controls, safeguarding assets and preventing fraud.
• Stay ahead of the curve in financial technology, adopting new systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Partner with other departments to provide financial expertise and support strategic decision-making.
• Analyze market trends and competitor data to inform pricing strategies and revenue optimization initiatives.
• Ensure adherence to all accounting standards and regulations, maintaining operational integrity.
• Contribute to a culture of data-driven decision-making, leveraging financial insights to drive improved performance.

Eligibility Requirements

The requirements of Finance Manager are as under:

• Ideally with a university degree or diploma in Finance, Commerce or Hospitality/Tourism management.
• CA certification would be an advantage.
• Minimum 2 years work experience as Finance Manager in larger operation.
