Responsibilities of Finance Analyst (VAT)

• Prepare monthly VAT returns along with supporting documents.
• Ensure accuracy in calculations relating to VAT returns.
• Check reconciliation across various systems for VAT payable and highlight the differences with IT if any.
• Ensure compliance from VAT law & Regulation perspective.
• Review support to closely work with the Tax team to ensure the requirements of VAT law and / or FTA are accurately scoped.

Requirements of Finance Analyst (VAT)

The requirements of Finance Analyst (VAT) are as under:

• Bachelors degree finance, accounting or relevant field.
• Minimum of 1 to 3 years of hands on experience in Banking or the Big 4 companies.
• Experience in all VAT related activities including Tax invoicing and VAT Returns calculations.
• Experience in various calculations relating to input VAT and output VAT.
• Experience in review of various reports and calculations relating to Input VAT
• Experience in VAT compliance.
