About the Role

As an EYFS Teacher at Al Shohub Private School, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and inspiring lessons to young learners in the Early Years Foundation Stage. Furthermore, you will play a key role in creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment that supports children’s holistic development. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver lessons that inspire students to succeed and achieve the best possible outcomes in EYFS
• Plan, prepare, and present sessions that cater for the needs of the whole ability range within the class
• Organise classroom provision and learning resources to encourage a positive and engaging learning environment
• Observe and assess children in line with school assessment frameworks
• Work alongside fellow teachers to plan engaging lessons that meet curriculum requirements
• Liaise with parents to ensure the happiness and best academic outcomes for all children
• Collaborate with curriculum support staff to support children’s development
• Meet with other professionals such as speech and language therapists and educational psychologists as required

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related subject with PGCE or other recognised teaching qualification
• Minimum 1-2 years of EYFS or early years teaching experience
• Clear understanding of the British Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum
• Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities
• Respect for all members of a school community, irrespective of position, gender, age, and ethnic background
• A clean enhanced DBS check or police clearance
