Duties of An Expert Corporate Strategy & Planning

• Develop, implement, and manage a practical and effective corporate performance management methodology that measures and produces reports on organizational performance on monthly and quarterly intervals.
• Oversee the corporate strategy development and performance management process by supporting the business owners in defining key plans and initiatives that translate the strategy to operations to be tracked at the corporate level.
• Contribute towards the development of strategic recommendations ensuring the translation and fulfilment of client’s vision and mission.
• Ensure establishing the definition of key performance indicators (corporate and departmental KPIs) and targets for CLIENT’S services.
• Provide consultation and advice to the business owners in the development of their yearly operational plans.

What You’ll Do More?

• Organize workshops to facilitate strategic discussions, assess or carry out organizational DNA, baseline study, stakeholder study, benchmark study and review of the pertinent UAE legislation.
• Carry out impact assessment studies and formulate strategic recommendations in response to changes in the global and national aviation sector.
• Initiate special studies, market and competitive research pertaining to the future of the CLIENT’S and the UAE aviation sector.
• Along with the business owners, define key performance indicators (corporate and departmental KPIs).
• Monitor performance to ensure achievement of results against agreed objectives and targets.
• Develop initiatives based on the Federal Government shared KPIs to ensure accomplishment of these key performance indicators.
• Coordinate with the business owners to develop remedial actions for the shortfalls in the Operational Plan targets.
• Follow up on the implementation of remedial actions and report to the senior management.
• Develop a proper tracking and reporting system against corporate performance objectives focusing on analysing the impact of deviations from plans and objectives.
• Lead the process of introducing the Balanced Scorecard based strategic planning process.
• Develop and look after a system for the timely extraction and collection of data for the departmental KPIs through tools and systems.
