Michael Page has an opportunity for a Executive Director Project Delivery to join a major real estate developer in UAE. The role holder will spearhead the delivery of multi billion dollar development & oversee the successful execution, timely completion of portfolio of mega projects. Candidate should have proven track record in project and construction management, with extensive experience working with main contractors on large-scale developments in the Middle East, particularly in the UAE. Additionally, candidate should exhibit executive level impact. 

Responsibilities of Executive Director Project Delivery

Following are the key responsibilities of Executive Director Project Delivery:-

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement strategic plans for the delivery of multiple mega projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives and timelines.
• Project Management: Lead a team of project managers and construction professionals to effectively manage all aspects of project delivery, including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and quality control.
• Stakeholder Management: Build & maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, external partners, contractors, and government authorities to facilitate smooth project execution.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Risk Management: Identify potential risks and challenges associated with project delivery and develop mitigation strategies to minimize their impact on timelines, costs, and quality.
• Resource Allocation: Allocate resources efficiently to meet project requirements, including manpower, equipment, and materials, while optimizing cost-effectiveness and productivity.
• Performance Monitoring: Implement systems and processes to monitor project performance, track key metrics.
• Provide regular updates to senior management on progress, challenges, and opportunities.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all projects adhere to high-quality standards & specifications, conducting regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
• Team Development: Mentor and develop team members, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their skills and capabilities in project management and construction execution.
• Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives across project delivery processes, systems & methodologies to enhance efficiency, productivity, and overall project outcomes.
• Budget Control: Oversee project budgets and expenditures, monitoring costs against forecasts and making recommendations for cost-saving measures where necessary.

Requirements of Executive Director Project Delivery

• Bchelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• PMP or similar project management certification is a plus.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in project and construction management, with a focus on large-scale developments in the Middle East, preferably in the UAE.
• Extensive experience working with main contractors in executive-level roles such as Project Director, Operations Manager / Director, or COO.
• Proven track record of successfully delivering multi-billion-dollar projects within budget and schedule constraints.
