Job Purpose of An Enterprise Risk Management Manager

• Provide high-level support on the effectiveness of risk mitigation programs across corporate, unit and individual projects levels.
• Validate the associated cost to address major risks based on loss expectancy and advise on response strategy adequacy.
• Advise on current controls usefulness in sustaining the risk level.
• The role will be key to monitor the ever-changing risk landscape.

Duties of An Enterprise Risk Management Manager

• Manage and deliver reliable and updated operational and tactical risk registers by providing assistance in defining risk and risk assessments to relevant risk and control owning parties.
• Manage and control the risk assessment to ensure that key processes are covered, and critical deficiencies are identified in order to manage risks associated with delivery.
• Develop systems / information data mechanisms to ensure timely updates on the risk’s status within the GRC software.
• Provide recommendations and consultation on any updates in the current innovative risk management best practices and trends to be in a position to advise on policy-making processes and revisions.
• Manage training and awareness programs by conducting high-level awareness trainings and programs that will enhance risk culture and improve organizational perceptions and behaviours towards risk and risk control.
• Manage the risk information sharing internally across the organization and externally to stakeholders to enable proactive risk management and effective controls environment.
• Manage and identify areas of duplication across the organization and ensure that risk mitigation is not duplicated which would have a direct impact on cost management and reduction.
• Produce and generate Feasibility Studies, Risk Reports, Management Information Pack, Risk updates, GRC software reports etc.
• Implement and execute cost of risk analysis in coordination with CPO and BAU.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field.

Experience

• 3-5 years of previous proven experience.

Skills & Knowledge Desired

• In depth knowledge of all sectors of the aviation market and an excellent awareness of the industry.
• Business knowledge/expertise/awareness financial concepts and applications, Risk management.
• Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and auditing programs and internal controls.
• Knowledge of project management approaches.
• Full understanding of airport operations from airspace and airfield through to terminal operations.
• Certification required in any area for professional ongoing development or for mandatory purposes.
