Job Description

Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC) is seeking a Senior Integrity Engineer (Process Safety) for ADNOC Sour Gas in Abu Dhabi, UAE. ADNOC Sour Gas is a joint venture company between ADNOC, which owns a 60% share, and Occidental Petroleum (OXY), which owns a 40% share. It was established in 2010 to maximize the value of the Shah Gas Field. Since then, the company has built a reputation as a reliable supplier of gas and one of the world’s leading sulfur producers. It helps deliver ADNOC’s strategic imperative to increase the gas supply to the UAE. ADNOC Sour Gas aims to meet the growing gas requirements of the nation, and strengthen its position as a major International sulfur producer.

Role of Senior Integrity Engineer

A Senior Integrity Engineer at ADNOC will facilitate Technical Integrity Verification audits and Failure Investigations related to Integrity and Process safety. He will recommend Remedial measures, and follow up on their implementation.

Responsibilities of Integrity Engineer

  • Develop, Implement, Monitor and report the Operating Integrity System.
  • Develop systems and processes to implement Process Safety Framework.
  • Monitor and report compliance to Process Safety Framework, Standards and Guidelines.
  • Lead the Periodic assessment of all process safety risks and effective mitigation measures.
  • Conduct PHA, HAZOP, SIL and other risk analysis for MOCs.
  • Conduct process safety management system awareness and training.
  • Conduct Technical and Operating Integrity Audits as per audit and assurance plan and publish reports.

Your Duties

  • Review reports related to process safety and operating Integrity Remedial actions. Ensure all outstanding issues are captured in IMS Databases for mitigating solutions in timely manners.
  • Communicate the analysis and trends of Integrity threats to field involved parties and Management.
  • Participate in Projects’ technical documents reviews and process safety reviews.
  • Ensure that Integrity Management system IMS requirements are included, and facilities are ready for operation.
  • Develop necessary presentation material for process safety and Integrity management committees.
  • Perform other similar or related duties, as required.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical / Process Engineering or equivalent.
  • 8 years of experience, including at least 4 years with Process Safety Management system.
