As an Emergency Medicine Specialist with Trauma Expertise, you will play a pivotal role in managing and treating patients in our busy emergency department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in emergency medicine, with a specific focus on trauma cases.

Responsibilities of Emergency Medicine Specialist

• Provide expert emergency medical care to patients, with a particular emphasis on trauma cases.
• Lead and coordinate the trauma team in the emergency department.
• Conduct thorough assessments, diagnosis, and treatment of patients in critical conditions.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and timely patient care.
• Oversee and participate in training programs for emergency department staff.
• Stay updated on the latest advancements in emergency medicine and trauma care.

Qualifications & Experience

Following are the requirements for the role of Emergency Medicine Specialist – Trauma at Fakeeh University Hospital:

• A Medical degree from recognised University plus Residency and fellowship in Emergency Medicine.
• Minimum 4-6 years of recent practice in busy ED setup with a focus on trauma cases.
• Must hold valid DHA license/Eligibility in Emergency Medicine
• Applicant must hold valid ATLS, ACLS, PALS certification.

Abilities & Skills

• Must have ability to assess patients’ condition with critical thinking ability.
• Demonstrates ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with patients, families, and other members of health care teams.
• Exceptional attention to details and analytical skills.
• Administration of medication and manage clinical risks.
