This full time role is based in Dubai and is open to qualified educators who hold a university degree in their specialist subject plus a teaching qualification. Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging Drama and Dance lessons across secondary year groups following the UK National Curriculum, IGCSE, A Levels, and IB Diploma Programme. Plan and prepare schemes of work that inspire creativity and build performance skills.
• Create a classroom culture where there are no limits to what students can achieve. Set ambitious targets and help each learner reach their full potential.
• Use innovative teaching practices and educational technology to enhance student experiences and outcomes. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback.
• Organise and direct school performances, showcases, and extracurricular drama and dance activities. Encourage students to participate in events that build confidence and teamwork.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and develop cross curricular projects. Act as a strong ambassador for the school, engaging parents and the wider community.
• Participate in professional development through Nord Anglia University and collaborations with Juilliard, MIT, and UNICEF. Finally, maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment for all students.

Qualifications

You need a university degree in Drama, Dance, Performing Arts, or a related specialist subject. A recognized teaching qualification such as PGCE, QTS, or equivalent is essential. You should have considerable teaching experience and strong knowledge of the UK National Curriculum, IGCSE, A Levels, or IB Diploma. The school looks for educators who are receptive to feedback, ready to embrace change, and able to create energy and excitement in the classroom. You must also meet visa related requirements for the UAE.
