Purpose of A Deputy Hospital Director
To execute and lead an effective and efficient operational and financial strategy for the business unit aimed at sustainable growth and development and quality outcomes in line with the strategic direction of the company.
Job Duties of A Deputy Hospital Director
- To lead and manage the team.
- To guide and support sustainable business development and growth initiatives for the business unit in line with overall business strategy.
- To provide operational financial management direction aimed at improving profitability and monitoring financial governance, patient administration, and related control measures.
- To actively build sustainable business relationships with key strategic stakeholders.
- To pro-actively monitor and manage the high-level patient experience processes.
Who Can Apply
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in management, commerce and/or finance.
- Post graduate qualification in a related field will be an advantage.
Experience
- At least 5 years’ relevant senior leadership experience in a healthcare setting of which at least 3 years involved financial management functions.
- Senior leadership experience in the healthcare sector in the UAE.
Skills & Knowledge Desired
- Demonstrate understanding of healthcare industry operations.
- Application of sound budgeting and financial planning and management principles.
- Business metrics, governance, and risk management.
- Patient experience principles and related best practice.
- Commercial awareness.
- Healthcare revenue cycle management and billing processes.

- Contract and service level agreement (SLA) management.
