Looking for Cytotechnologist jobs in Dubai? King’s College Hospital London UAE is seeking a highly skilled Cytotechnologist and Cytoscreener to join their multidisciplinary laboratory team in Dubai. About the Role
The Cytotechnologist at King’s College Hospital London UAE will join the laboratory team as a Senior Medical Laboratory Technologist specializing in cytology screening and quality assurance. Furthermore, the ideal candidate will have strong expertise in diagnostic accuracy and specimen preparation techniques. Moreover, this position supports the delivery of high-quality patient care across both gynecological and non-gynecological cytology specimens.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform cytology screening with high diagnostic accuracy for gynecological and non-gynecological specimens
- Review and verify cytology results in accordance with laboratory policies and regulatory standards
- Ensure full compliance with DHA and international laboratory accreditation standards such as CAP and ISO15189
- Participate in quality control, quality assurance, and proficiency testing programs
- Collaborate closely with pathologists and clinical teams to support timely diagnostic workflows
- Train, mentor, and support junior technologists when required
- Maintain meticulous documentation and contribute to continuous process improvement
- Support laboratory accreditation and audit preparation activities
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Science or equivalent
- DHA-licensed Cytoscreener or DHA Eligibility Letter as Cytoscreener
- Minimum 5 years of experience in cytology, cytoscreening, or anatomic pathology
- Strong technical skills in cytology specimen preparation, staining, and screening
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to diagnostic accuracy
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Experience in a JCI or CAP-accredited hospital laboratory is an advantage
