Dubai Islamic Bank is looking to hire suitably skilled and devoted candidate for role of Corporate Tax Manager. The selected candidate is responsible to oversee and manages all aspects of the organizations tax compliance and reporting, ensuring adherence to relevant regulations.

Responsibilities of Corporate Tax Manager

• Provides support to the AVP Corporate Tax in managing corporate tax and transfer pricing matters for the Group.
• Manage and support the tax compliance process for the DIB group, including preparation and timely submission of tax returns.
• Participates in the preparation of quarterly tax Reporting and tax provision processes.
• Collaborate with the Financial Control & Reporting team regarding the tax computation to determine the tax position in the financial statements.
• Ensures compliance with local Corporate tax laws, Transfer Pricing regulations and (tax) accounting standards, by supporting the financing team.
• Monitor changes in the Tax environment in order to understand the impact on the current day to day business operations, identifying risks and opportunities by addressing this within the tax team.
• Ensure compliance for Corporate Tax and Transfer Pricing and assistance with various projects.
• Take responsibility for the tax reporting process, including tax compliance, by coordinating with the relevant finance stakeholders within the DIB group.

Requirements of Corporate Tax Manager

The requirements of Corporate Tax Manager are as under:

• Bachelor’s Degree or master’s degree in Finance.
• Professional Tax Qualification such as Chartered Tax Advisor (CTA/ACA/ATT) or equivalent.
• Minimum 5-7 years in a Corporate tax role or equivalent (Tax) accounting experience (big 4 or in-house experience preferred).
