Looking for a Consultant Endocrinology job in Ajman? Sheikh Khalifa Medical City (SKMCA) is recruiting a board-certified endocrinologist to provide comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and long-term management care for endocrine and metabolic disorders. This full-time consultant position offers the opportunity to establish an endocrinology service in a progressive healthcare facility. Additionally, you’ll work with modern diagnostic equipment and a supportive multidisciplinary healthcare team.
About the Role
As a Consultant Endocrinologist, you’ll provide expert diagnostic and medical management of complex endocrine and metabolic disorders across all patient populations. Furthermore, you’ll deliver high-quality outpatient and inpatient care while interpreting diagnostic tests and monitoring long-term patient management. This senior role demands strong clinical expertise in conditions including diabetes, thyroid disorders, and hormonal imbalances. Additionally, you’ll mentor junior medical staff, contribute to clinical research, and participate in quality improvement initiatives within your department.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage endocrine and metabolic disorders comprehensively
- Provide expert outpatient and inpatient endocrinology services
- Interpret diagnostic endocrine tests and laboratory investigations
- Develop and monitor long-term treatment plans for metabolic conditions
- Collaborate with primary care physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams
- Supervise and support junior medical staff and residents
- Maintain accurate and comprehensive medical documentation
- Participate in quality improvement, departmental meetings, and clinical audits
- Contribute to clinical research and evidence-based practice initiatives
- Provide consultation services for complex endocrine cases
Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree
- Recognized Endocrinology residency training and board certification
- Minimum 5 years post-certification experience as a consultant endocrinologist
- Valid MOH/DHA license or eligibility for UAE registration
- Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication abilities
- Experience in managing diverse endocrine patient populations preferred
