Jumeirah Group presently has job opening for eligible candidate for position of a Concierge. The aspiring candidate will work at Jumeirah Al Naseem (subsidiary of Jumeirah Group) in Dubai. This job has recently been posted by Jumeirah Group on 24 October 2023 and is now open for all desirous candidates.

Job Purpose of A Concierge

• Assists guest in the recommendation, booking and organizing of sightseeing, shopping, arts and cultural activities as well as recommendation and booking of restaurants, bars, clubs, and other entertainment/leisure activities as requested.
• Is expected to have an extensive and intimate knowledge of Dubai and surrounding regions.
• All recommendations must appear to be personal and insightful.
• Have an in depth knowledge of directions, travel time, cost, and various forms of transportation.
• Builds relationship with guests to delight and gain loyalty.
• Create focused conversations with guests which identify their preferences.
• Ensure customer satisfaction from arrival to departure in accordance to the Heart of Jumeirah and LQA standards.
• Be proactive and anticipate the complete requirements of each guest to make their unique experience a success.
• Provide clear directions for all guests travelling outside of the hotel.
• Respond to all guests’ needs and requests, utilizing proper communication skills within resources, and other departments, when appropriate.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• High school graduate.

Experience

• Minimum two years of experience in a same role in a 5-star hotel in United Arab Emirates.

Skills & Knowledge Desired 

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Sufficient computer knowledge (Microsoft Office, HotSOS, and Opera PMS).
• Flexible schedule to meet demands of hotel occupancy.
• Fluency in English and additional language (Russian, Arabic, Chinese, or other European languages are a plus).
