Responsibilities of A Senior Civil Designer

• Specialist Designer in Design & Detailing of Civil & Structural works of Oil and Gas projects.
• Be responsible for assessing effectiveness of working practices and systems with a view to continuously improving systems, personal and team performance.
• Carry out work in accordance with Wood and project Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality Systems.
• Maintain the required technical quality of work.
• Identify scope and schedule changes in accordance with the Change Control Process.
• Maintain planning on all work scopes.
• Provide technical assistance to discipline assigned personnel as required.
• Ensure, as far as practically possible, that all assigned work is carried out in compliance with the agreed schedule.
• Keep up to date with technical developments.
• Review, prepare, check work output of discipline assigned personnel.
• Prepare estimates and assist in their review.
• Maintain good communication with the team and client.
• Maintain discipline filing system.
• Encourage and provide lateral learning within the project.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of a Senior Civil Designer are as under:

• Minimum Diploma Engineering in civil / structural or ITI.
• Minimum 9 years of post graduate experience.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in the oil and gas industry.
• Minimum 4 years of experience in the designation.
