Job Purpose of A Cashier
Accurately handle financial transactions, manage fee / tution amounts and maintain financial records for the school.
Your Job Duties As A Cashier At GEMS Metropole School Dubai
- Receive and receipt school tuition /fee payments and to accurately report this information to the school Accountant.
- Disbursement of petty cash as instructed by school Accountant. Reconcile and balance petty cash.
- Prepare banking deposits as requested.
- Keep records of fee concessions and all related records pertaining to other school income.
- Assist the school Accountant and Assistant Accountant in day to day accounting procedures.
- Ensure the GEMS policy, procedures and codes of conduct are followed at all times.
- Initiate effort and energy beyond the typical work day, where the tasks require additional commitment.
- Attend staff meetings and serve on committees as required.
Who Can Apply?
Qualification
- Completion of formal schooling / High school.
- Advanced accounting training.
Experience
- A minimum of 1 year experience in a similar Accounting position.
- Relevant financial work experience.
Skills Desired
- Computer data entry skills.
- Experience with formatting summary reports.
