Job Description

Shipping industry is currently seeking dedicated and physically fit individual to join their team as Cargo Loader. A Cargo Loader will play a crucial role in the efficient loading and unloading of cargo, ensuring the safe and timely movement of goods within their facility.

Responsibilities of Cargo Loader

Load and unload cargo onto and from trucks, aircraft, or ships according to safety guidelines and operational procedures.
Ensure proper placement and securement of cargo to prevent damage during transportation.
Operate equipment such as forklifts, conveyor belts, and pallet jacks to move and position cargo.
Verify and document the quantity and condition of cargo being loaded or unloaded.
Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with supervisors to coordinate workflow.
Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines to prevent accidents and injuries.
Maintain a clean and organized work area, reporting any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards.
Follow company policies and procedures related to cargo handling and security.

Requirements of Cargo Loader

Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy objects and work in various weather conditions.
Previous experience of less than 1 year in cargo handling or a related field is an asset.
