The department of Languages and Literature, College of Humanities &S. Sc. United Arab Emirates University invite applications for a Associate Professor literature. The selected candidate are expected to have a strong commitment to teaching excellence and student advising at the undergraduate and graduate levels, develop and sustain an internally and/or externally funded research program in his/her area of expertise, publish his/her research findings in refereed journals, and actively engage in promoting the growth of the UAE University. Responsibilities of Associate Professor

• Teach undergraduate and graduate courses in literature, including but not limited to courses in various literary genres, periods, and themes.
• Develop and deliver engaging lectures, seminars, and workshops that promote critical thinking, analytical skills, and a deep understanding of literary texts.
• Mentor and advise graduate students, providing guidance on research projects, thesis and dissertation work, and academic career development.

Job Requirements

The requirements for the job role of Associate Professor are as under:

• PhD in Literature or a closely related field.
• Minimum 4 year experience in similar role.
• Industrial and professional experience.
