Responsibilities of Assistant Restaurant Manager

Assist in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant
Oversee and manage staff, ensuring a high level of service
Monitor and maintain quality control standards
Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination
Handle customer inquiries and feedback with professionalism
Uphold and enforce health and safety regulations
Foster a positive work environment and promote team work
Recruiting, training and supervising staff.
Agreeing and managing budgets.
Creating staffing rotas.
Planning menus.
Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation.
Promoting and marketing the business.
Overseeing stock levels and ordering supplies.
Handling customer enquiries and complaints.
Taking reservations.
Greeting and advising customers.
Problem solving.
Preparing and presenting staffing/sales reports.

Requirements of Assistant Restaurant Manager

Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or relevant field.
Proven experience of 1-2 years as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or in a similar role
