Responsibilities of Assistant Restaurant Manager
- Assist in the day-to-day operations of the restaurant
- Oversee and manage staff, ensuring a high level of service
- Monitor and maintain quality control standards
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure seamless coordination
- Handle customer inquiries and feedback with professionalism
- Uphold and enforce health and safety regulations
- Foster a positive work environment and promote team work
- Recruiting, training and supervising staff.
- Agreeing and managing budgets.
- Creating staffing rotas.
- Planning menus.
- Ensuring compliance with licensing, hygiene and health and safety legislation.
- Promoting and marketing the business.
- Overseeing stock levels and ordering supplies.
- Handling customer enquiries and complaints.
- Taking reservations.
- Greeting and advising customers.
- Problem solving.
- Preparing and presenting staffing/sales reports.
Requirements of Assistant Restaurant Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, finance, or relevant field.
- Proven experience of 1-2 years as an Assistant Restaurant Manager or in a similar role
