Assistant Relationship Manager Invest Bank Dubai

Assistant Relationship Manager at Invest Bank Dubai is responsible for maintaining client relationships while providing support to the business unit for the Abu Dhabi Region portfolio. Acts as a vital support to the team to increase efficiency. Also, act as a point of contact and backup to ensure effective client satisfaction. This is an intermediate level and full time role and for this job the salary ranges from 7000 AED to 14000 AED.

Responsibilities of Assistant Relationship Manager

  • Good relationships with clients under the assigned RMs/SRMs portfolio and represent on behalf of the RM/SRM as and when required.
  • Assist to resolve daily transactions / queries raised by customers by liaising / coordinating with relevant departments.
  • Ensure all customer requests are promptly responded without delays by raising required approval – i.e. Memos, proposals, and requests for extensions, exceptions, and deferral etc. on time to ensure transactions are processed smoothly

Risk

  • Credit proposals are prepared for annual renewals for existing clients in a timely manner confirming all information are obtained from customers.
  • Assigned RMs/SRMs in getting all deficiencies and defects in facility documentation resolved in a timely manner to ensure securities are perfected.
  • Monitoring accounts under assigned RMs portfolio for overdue, unauthorized excesses and other early warning signals, and update RMs with any deviation noticed.
  • Report for each client to be analyze on quarterly basis.

Regulatory

  • All client files are up to date including latest credit approval, legal documentation, charge documents (mortgage, valuations, insurance etc.). All client files contain the latest 3 years data / financial statements. Older documents to be properly archive.
  • KYC is update on all accounts – including borrowing and non-borrowing.
  • Updating of MIS reports related to the assigned RMs portfolio and provide all necessary details on time to time exercises conducted by the bank.
  • Compliance approval for account opening and account maintenance for high risk customers and adherence to work timings.
  • Training programs as per the job requirements and personal development.
  • Active participation in employee engagement initiatives at the division / bank level.

Requirements of Assistant Relationship Manager

  • Bachelor Degree related to Business, Accounting, Commerce or Economics is required
  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in Corporate Banking.
  • Credit Analysis and Monitoring
  • AML/Compliance refresher course.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Understanding of the bank’s credit policy, operating environment and regulatory framework.
  • Good capability to interpret financials – P&L, balance sheet, cash flow statements, ratio analysis etc.
  • Good knowledge of various financial products/services offered by the bank pertaining to Working Capital, Term Finance, Investments Banking, Trade & Treasury Products.
  • Good interpersonal relationship skills
  • Relationship / business orientation.
  • Good communication in English – verbal & written.
  • Good PC skills / MS office.
  • Credit, compliance and legal knowledge.
  • Arabic is a Must
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and analytical skills with ability to perform as a team player.
  • Objectives & goals focused and result oriented.
  • Influence and persuasion to develop effective customer relationships.
