Ajman University’s College of Dentistry needs a qualified Associate or Assistant Professor in Human Anatomy. This full time faculty position starts in the Fall semester of 2026 to 2027. You will deliver anatomy courses to dental students. Your goal is to provide outstanding teaching and evaluate student progress. In addition, you will conduct high quality research and publish in top journals. You will also supervise student projects and thesis dissertations. If you hold a PhD from a reputable university and have three years of experience with a master degree in the field, this role is for you. A strong record in community service and scholarly activities is also required.

Key Responsibilities for Assistant Professor in Human Anatomy

• Deliver courses in Human Anatomy to dental students. Follow the curriculum and college guidelines. Evaluate and monitor individual student progress. Provide feedback to sustain student success.
• Organize and manage instructional resources. Maintain course outlines and community networks. Ensure a respectful and culturally sensitive learning environment in all college focused activities.
• Conduct high quality research in your field. Publish research outcomes in reputable journals and conferences. Supervise student projects and thesis dissertations.
• Establish and maintain effective work relationships across the organization and the community. Motivate and inspire confidence in students and colleagues. Help them overcome limitations to personal growth and success.
• Actively seek out methods, procedures, and resources to achieve course and lesson objectives. Maintain relationships with students that are conducive to learning. Finally, perform miscellaneous job related duties as assigned. Contribute to college activities such as membership on various committees.

Qualifications

You need a PhD from a reputable university. Three years of experience with a master degree in the field is required. An outstanding teaching record is essential. You must have an outstanding research and publications record in top journals. Adequate experience in supervising student projects and thesis dissertations is necessary. A record of collaborative and interdisciplinary research is an advantage. An excellent record in community service and scholarly activities is also required. Familiarity with the Credit Hour academic system is expected. You should be able to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. Ability to provide academic advising for students and work effectively with diverse team members is essential. Familiarity with Learning Management Systems and other educational software is also required.
