About the Role

The Assistant Professor in Accounting at Al Ain University is responsible for delivering high-quality undergraduate and postgraduate instruction in Accounting and related disciplines at the Al Ain campus. The role reports to the College Dean and involves active engagement in research, publication, and academic service. Moreover, the successful candidate will contribute to accreditation processes and participate in curriculum development aligned with international standards. Key Responsibilities for Assistant Professor in Accounting at Al Ain University Al Ain

• Develop and deliver courses in Accounting and related specialization areas to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
• Evaluate and monitor individual student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance student success.
• Teach a variety of specialized courses related to the Accounting specialization.
• Engage in quality research and publish findings in high-repute Scopus-indexed journals.
• Support and engage in curriculum development and course management aligned with university and college standards.
• Contribute effectively to college and university initiatives and participate in constructive academic proposals and projects.
• Support and participate in local and international accreditation initiatives.
• Promote and guide students in envisioning their future careers locally, regionally, and internationally.
• Maintain relationships with students conducive to a positive learning environment.

Requirements

• Ph.D. in Accounting from a recognized university.
• Minimum 2+ years of proven teaching excellence at university level.
• Research published in journals indexed in the Scopus database.
• Dedication to continued professional development and curriculum renewal.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English and Arabic, orally and in writing.
• Advanced use of technology in the education process, including e-learning systems.
• Willingness to provide all necessary services to the university and college.
