Assistant/Associate Professor Marketing, CUD UAE

Canadian University Dubai (CUD) is presently hiring suitably qualified candidate for the faculty ranks of an Assistant/Associate Professor Marketing. The selected candidate will have the opportunity to educate the next generation of marketing professionals through personal knowledge and expertise with special emphasis on Digital Marketing. Purpose of Assistant/Associate Professor Marketing

• Implement the accredited curriculum in accordance with the academic standards of the university and requirements of Ministry of Education.
• Teach a full course load and holding office hours accordingly.
• Lay due emphasis on non instructional activities (i.e. research), creative activities or administrative services to the university.

Duties of Assistant/Associate Professor Marketing

• Design and conduct engaging lectures, seminars and workshops that cover a range of digital marketing topics such as search engine optimization (SEO), social media marketing, online advertising, content marketing and analytics.
• Stay upto date with current digital marketing trends, tools and best practices to ensure the curriculum remains relevant and cutting edge.
• Mentor and guide students to help them develop practical skills in digital marketing through hands on projects, case studies, and internships.
• Collaborate with other faculty members to continuously enhance the digital marketing program and contribute to the overall success of the department.
• Engage in scholarly activities, including research, publications and presentations, to contribute to the field of digital marketing.
• Assist Department Head in evaluating course objectives and sequencing.
• Advise students and assist in tracking “At Risk” students with poor academic performance.
• Report any needed repairs of equipment and any needed supplies.
• Recommend to the Department Head the acquisition of reference materials for the department.
• Develop new courses as requested by the Department Head or Dean.
• Supervising, teaching and administering independent studies.
• Advise students during the registration periods.
• Attend faculty & departmental meetings.
• Perform community outreach activities.
• Serve as an ambassador to Canadian University Dubai by promoting institution when engaged in professional duties off campus.

Qualification & Experience

• PhD in the specialized domain Digital Marketing.
• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in teaching graduate or undergraduate studens in same field.
• Applicants with experience within a Canadian Institution are preferred.
