Job Title

Area Head – Ajman, Sharjah, and Umm Al Quwain (Emiratized Role)

Responsibilities

  • Team up with the Regional Head to roll out sales and service plans for branches.
  • Set budget goals for different customer groups, like retail or corporate clients.
  • Assign targets to branch managers and check their progress regularly.
  • Make sure branches offer top-notch service, especially in busy markets like Ajman.
  • Scout for new business, like partnerships with local firms in Sharjah.
  • Collect info to support opening or moving branches or ATMs in the area.
  • Represent FAB at local events, like the UAE National Day celebrations.
  • Sort out customer complaints with the Head of Customer Experience.
  • Set clear goals for team members to keep them on track.
  • Mentor UAE Nationals to grow as leaders, supporting FAB’s Ethraa program.
  • Track sales and service numbers to hit key targets.
  • Ensure branches follow UAE banking rules and FAB’s policies.
  • Run team meetings to keep everyone aligned with bank goals.
  • Report area results to senior management each month.

Requirements

Education

Bachelor’s degree in any field, ideally business or finance. A certification from the Emirates Institute of Finance is a bonus but not required.

Experience

10 years in banking, with 5 years managing branch teams. Experience in UAE markets, like Sharjah’s business hubs, is needed.
