Job Description

NAFFCO has been recognized by the Dubai Quality Appreciation Program in 2008, further cementing their status as a renowned leader in fire protection solutions. Currently they are looking to hire a Male candidate for the job role of a Accountant in Jebel Ali Free zone، South Area، Jebel Ali Free Zone Street, Dubai, UAE. This is an Intermediate level full time role. For this position salary ranges from 7000-15000 AED, which may be slightly negotiable during the interview process.

Responsibilities of Accountant

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.
  • Conduct regular audits of financial records to identify discrepancies and implement corrective actions.
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payment processing.
  • Develop and maintain budgeting and forecasting models to guide financial planning and decision-making.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that support strategic business initiatives.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations by preparing and filing necessary tax returns and documentation.
  • Implement and monitor internal controls to safeguard company assets and enhance financial integrity.
  • Assist in the preparation of year-end financial statements and coordinate with external auditors.
  • Utilize accounting software to streamline processes and enhance reporting efficiency.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes that may impact financial operations.

Requirements for Role of Accountant

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, with a strong grasp of accounting principles and practices.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant accounting experience in a corporate environment, preferably in the logistic sector.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Fluency in English is required; additional languages are a plus to enhance communication with diverse teams.
