Job Purpose of An Accountant
Carry out tasks of accounting / daily financial services as well as collecting, analyzing, displaying and recording financial and accounting data.
Job Duties of An Accountant
- Manage day to day accounting tasks, such as reconciling accounts, processing transactions and maintaining financial records.
- Produce error free accounting reports.
- Analyze financial information & summarize financial status.
- Spot errors and suggest ways to improve efficiency and spending.
- Review and recommend modifications to accounting systems and procedures.
- Handle accounting issues and conduct special projects as assigned.
- Manage accounting assistants and book keepers.
- Implement and maintain internal financial controls to prevent fraud and financial mismanagement.
- Participate in financial standards setting and in forecast process.
- Develop and update financial policies and procedures to ensure transparency and compliance.
Qualification & Experience
- Bachelor degree in Finance/accounting.
- 3 years experience in the same field.
