Bloom Education needs a qualified Primary ICT Teacher for an immediate start in Dubai. This full time contract runs until the end of the academic year 2025 to 2026. You will teach ICT to students in Grade 3 and Grade 4. Your goal is to deliver engaging and interactive lessons that follow curriculum standards. You will develop students’ digital literacy, problem solving, and critical thinking skills. In addition, you will use hands on, project based learning. If you have a bachelor degree in Education with ICT or Computer Science and at least two years of primary ICT teaching experience, this role is for you.

Key Responsibilities for About the job Primary ICT Teacher

• Deliver engaging and interactive ICT lessons to Grade 3 and 4 students. Follow the curriculum standards closely. Use hands on, project based learning to make technology fun and meaningful.
• Develop students’ digital literacy skills. Teach them how to use computers, software, and online tools safely. Encourage problem solving and critical thinking.
• Plan and prepare lessons thoroughly. Assess student progress regularly. Monitor their development and provide constructive feedback
• Inspire, challenge, and support each student. Help them build a strong foundation in ICT. Promote their wellbeing and safety at all times.
• Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community. Work together to support student learning and development. Participate in professional development opportunities. Finally, contribute to curriculum innovation and enhancement.

Qualifications

You need a bachelor degree in Education with a specialisation in ICT, Computer Science, or a related field. A minimum of two years of teaching experience as an ICT teacher in a primary school setting is required. Experience with American or British curriculum frameworks is highly desirable. You must have a passion for technology and the ability to inspire young learners. Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills are essential. A collaborative, flexible, and innovative approach to teaching is also important.
