Job Description
The Supply Chain Officer at IIQAF Group will be responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of supply chain, from vendor selection and procurement to delivery and inventory management. The successful candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices.
Responsibilities of Supply Chain Officer
- Identify potential vendors and negotiate contracts and pricing terms.
- Manage relationships with existing vendors and monitor their performance.
- Monitor inventory levels and place orders in a timely manner to ensure uninterrupted supply.
- Collaborate with various departments to forecast demand and plan inventory levels accordingly.
- Establish and maintain strong communication channels between different departments and vendors.
- Conduct regular audits of vendors and evaluate their compliance with standards and regulations.
- Create and maintain databases and records of all procurement, supply, and delivery transactions.
- Develop and implement processes to increase supply chain transparency and traceability.
- Identify and troubleshoot any supply chain issues and implement corrective actions.
- Keep up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve supply chain processes.
Requirements of Supply Chain Officer
- Bachelor’s degree in business, logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a supply chain or procurement role.
Skills & Abilities Desired
- Strong understanding of supply chain principles and practices.
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and supply chain management software.
