Micheal Page has a dubai based opportunity for role of HR Manager. The Human Resources Manager will manage an employee size of 100+ across the EMEA region with a regional head office in Dubai, this will offer a wide scope opportunity for an individual looking to grow with a multinational company.
Responsibilities of HR Manager
Oversees the daily work flow of the department acting as its support system, carries out the following:
- On a strategic level, Understand business goals and recommend new approaches, policies and procedures and improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company.
- Oversees the talent pool process to empower the existing workforce and work on succession plans across the divisions.
- Develop learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Day to day work flow.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands and issues.
- Understand business goals & recommend new approaches, policies and procedures and improvements in business objectives, productivity and development of HR within the company.
- Is responsible for the talent acquisition process, which may include recruitment, interviewing, and hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborates with departmental managers to understand skills and competencies required for openings.
- Analyses trends in compensation and benefits; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to ensure the organisation attracts and retains top talent.
- Develop learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal development opportunities for employees.
- Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and issues in accordance with company policy and maintains records.
- Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance.
Requirements of HR Manager
- Bachelor’s degree in HR Degree.
- 3 plus years of experience in HR Management and in a Strategic HR Management position/ Senior HR Business partnering role.
- Regional experience in the Middle East and Africa.
Skills & Abilities Desired
- Should be proficient in using MS Office, Excel and data related tools
- Knowledge of establishing HR ranking system.
- Knowledge on various HR applications will be preferable.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong business and HR acumen, including strong problem solving skills, critical thinking, and analysis.
- Strong understanding of Labor related laws and statutes.
- Ability to prioritise tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
- Attention to detail.
