Senior Nurse

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and supervise cracking primary care, from checkups to treatments.
  • Run health clinics, dishing out meds, vaccines, and dressings with care.
  • Handle advanced tasks like cervical screening, cryotherapy, and kids’ health checks.
  • Work tight with medical teams to keep patient care smooth and joined-up.
  • Roll out wellness programs to teach staff about health and chronic conditions.
  • Carry out and oversee detailed health assessments, like vitals and patient histories.
  • Jump into emergencies with first aid and life support know-how.
  • Keep nursing crew sharp with CPR and emergency training sessions.
  • Ensure bang-on records in digital health systems.
  • Push for better care through quality projects and sticking to protocols.
  • Guide staff on wound care and picking the right treatments.
  • Oversee health checks for aviation staff before hiring or regular reviews.
  • Watch over health programs for workers facing workplace risks.

Requirements

Education

A nursing degree or diploma and a valid DHA license as an RN are non-negotiable. BLS and ACLS certifications are required.

Experience

At least 8 years of nursing experience, with 4+ years in primary care, emergency nursing, or aviation/occupational health, is needed. Pediatric or advanced care experience gives a leg up.
