Job Description

There’s a full-time opening in Abu Dhabi for someone who’s great at managing people and hitting sales goals. First Abu Dhabi Bank is looking for an Assistant Account Manager to handle third-party sales channels. You’ll be working on-site, keeping an eye on vendor teams, helping them meet targets for personal loans and credit cards, and making sure everything lines up with bank standards. The job needs someone with a Bachelor’s degree and at least 3 years of experience in retail banking, ideally with a focus on loans and cards. Responsibilities

  • Guide third-party sales reps on product knowledge, customer service, and ethical conduct.
  • Keep track of loan and card sales goals – and make sure teams are on track to meet them.
  • Organize sales competitions to keep things fun and inspiration.
  • Help set up in-company kiosks to attract customers and boost visibility.
  • Make sure training is up-to-date and that new hires understand FAB policies.
  • Handle complaints efficiently and keep service standards high.
  • Work with various departments such as credit and risk of keeping the procedures even.
  • Monitor sales data and share performance updates with stakeholders.
  • Slide low rejection rate and improve the quality of the applications.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

A Bachelor’s degree in banking, business, finance, or something similar is needed.

Experience

At least 3 years working in retail banking, especially in sales for loans and credit cards.

Skills

  • Confident talking to people at all levels.
  • Strong leadership and team management.
  • Knows how to keep a sales team engaged.
  • Solid grasp of loan and credit card products.
  • Good with planning and organizing training sessions.

Knowledge

  • Aware of what’s trending in UAE’s retail banking scene.
  • Familiar with Islamic and conventional banking practices.
  • Understands customer behavior and service expectations.
  • Comfortable reviewing sales performance and analytics.
  • Knows how to follow risk and compliance guidelines.
