Job Description
NAFFCO presently has a job opening for suitably qualified and experienced candidate for position of a Commissioning Engineer -Fire Fighting Systems in Dubai.
Job Description of Commissioning Engineer
- Testing and commissioning of Fire pumps, Sprinkler, Hose reel, landing valves and Fire fighting related mechanical system
- Overseeing the installation, testing, and commissioning of fire fighting systems.
- Ensuring compliance with local and international fire safety codes and standards.
- Troubleshooting and resolving any issues or malfunctions in fire fighting systems.
- Conducting regular inspections and maintenance of fire fighting systems to ensure optimal performance.
- Preparing and submitting detailed reports on system performance, maintenance activities, and any necessary repairs or upgrades.
- Keeping up-to-date with advancements in fire fighting technology and industry best practices.
Desired Candidate Profile
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or a related field.
- At least 2 years of experience in commissioning fire fighting systems.
- Familiarity with local and international fire safety codes and standards.
- Experience working in the construction or engineering industry, preferably with a focus on fire protection systems.
- Strong technical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in various environmental conditions.
