Job Description
Senior Trainer in Cargo at Flydubai in ENI Sapphire Tower Office number 6, Al Ittihad Road. Port Saeed, Deira Dubai, UAE will deliver comprehensive technical training programs to airport and cargo employees, focusing on ensuring proficiency in handling various aspects of airport and cargo operations, including cargo system (SkyChain), dangerous goods, live animals, perishables, ramp operations, safety and security. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-25000 AED/month.
Responsibilities of Senior Trainer Cargo
- Achieves all Ground Operations and Cargo training goals regarding product performance, service, safety, security, and regulatory compliance.
- Performs all aspects of training to include Competency-Based Training and Assessment (CBTA) for Dangerous Goods Regulations, Passenger Service Representatives, LCF personnel, authorized representatives, contracted suppliers, handling agents, etc.
- Develops and facilitates online and classroom training for Operations, Sales, Pricing, and Revenue Optimization employees.
- Anticipates problems and initiate actions to resolve training-related issues proactively.
- Interacts with customers and contracted suppliers to ensure appropriate training requirements and  procedures are conveyed.
- Monitors and assesses the performance of attendees in classroom or Computer Based Training (CBT)Â Â environments.
- Compile, updates and maintain training records for employees, customers, contractors, and vendor personnel, maintaining these records for Dubai and Outstations as required by regulatory authorities.
- Instructs company ground operations procedures, including Weight and Balance, Special Loads, Safety and Security etc. For all employees, when required.
- Develops and updates training material and courseware to align with the cargo system and relevant standards and regulations.
- Participates in audits, inspections, and root cause analysis.
- Undertakes other special projects as required by the company.
Requirements for Role of Senior Trainer Cargo
- Bachelor’s Degree (3+ years) in marketing, business administration, communications, or a related field.
- IATA DGR 7.3A equivalent.
- Train the Trainer.
- SkyChain (cargo system) system certification.
- Advanced Level Instruction in English: ICAO Level 5 (Extended) or other qualifications in English.
- 5 years of experience in operations with Dangerous Goods Regulation.
- 5 years of experience of delivering training in aviation and cargo industry is a must.
- Experience in delivering courses through virtual platforms is an asset.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- SkyChain knowledge is a must.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office, especially in PowerPoint.
- Fluent in English (other languages an advantage)
