Job Description

Sheikh Khalifa Medical City Ajman is seeking an experienced Staff / Charge Nurse in UAE. The selected candidate shall work in the Diabetes clinic and provide exceptional care to the patients. Both UAE Nationals and expats can make use of this opportunity and become a part of UAE’s significant healthcare setup.

Role of Staff Nurse Diabetes Clinic

This role person will provide assistance and care to the patients at diabetes clinic. The nurse will listen to the patients concerns and treat them in a professional and polite manner.

Responsibilities of Staff Nurse

  • Maintain and update patient’s medical records.
  • Guide the patients on medications.
  • Responsible for admission, transfer and discharge of patients.
  • Mentor and train new staff while providing support to all staff members.
  • Monitor medical charts and patients’ condition.
  • Providing exceptional and compassionate care to patients and assistance to the attendants.
  • Liaise with specialists and administration.
  • Communicate any protocol / guidelines changes to the staff.
  • Ensure compliance to all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc. degree in nursing OR equivalent qualifications with min. of 3 Yr. study duration from an accredited nursing program.
  • Valid/current national nursing license.

Experience

For UAE Nationals

  • Minimum of 2 Yr. clinical experience post qualification in appropriate and relevant healthcare settings.
  • Minimum of 1 yr. experience in a diabetes clinic.

For Expats

  • Minimum of 4 Yr. clinical experience post qualification in Relevant field.
  • Minimum of 2 Yr.’ experience as Staff / Charge Nurse in diabetes clinic.

Skills

  • Able to work independently and in a team.
  • Effective organizational skills.
  • Good communication skills.
