As a Sales Manager specializing in the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region at Miral Experience, candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the sales team to drive revenue growth and expand market share within the GCC countries.

Responsibilities of Sales Manager GCC

  • Aggressively target the solicitation of business from key market segments: Leisure & MICE to achieve annual revenue targets.
  • Work with colleagues in the market to shape and implement a sales strategy for the GCC markets to ensure revenue growth in the portfolio
  • Contributes to annual sales plan with market insights, sales strategy, sales tactics and a full overview of the market plan for the subsequent year
  • Facilitate cyclical sales activities relevant to the region and maintain frequent contact frequency with all tour operator, OTA and DMC partners
  • Plans calendar of business travel in line with market seasonality, planning cycle and cyclical market events such as DCT events, client events & corporate roadshows
  • Identify & contract new business partners for the company
  • Conduct DMC & partner product training & educational webinars.
  • Drive lead conversion and initiate new revenue streams through innovation in distribution, product development & joint marketing activities
  • Work in liaison with Yas Concierge Team to maximise conversion of all sales leads
  • Engage in domestic and international sales missions and tradeshows to raise awareness and consideration
  • Conduct review meetings with partners to monitor market performance, joint marketing activity performance (where applicable) and make recommendations for change based on performance and learnings.

What you will do more

  • Ensure requirement for joint marketing activity KPIs is strictly adhered to and an end of campaign report is provided
  • Work in conjunction with colleagues in market to communicate all relevant marketing campaigns to the  region relevant to maximise reach of B2C activity through the B2B channels
  • Effectively use the CRM system for daily reporting, tracking leads and other functions as requested.
  • Work with Sales Operations Team to ensure contracting for GCC market is carried out annually ahead of schedule for the following year
  • Resolve order and inventory problems by investigating data and history. Work to solve partner challenges through liaison with Product & Packaging Team, Yas Concierge Team & IT
  • Provides responsive (within 24 hour) support to GCC market colleagues and all partners as and when required.
  • Tracks sales expenses and submits them in a timely fashion for reimbursement.
  • Negotiates prices and discounts in consultation with GCC Country Director .
  • Accurately forecasts annual, quarterly and monthly revenue streams.
  • Take initiative in improving guest experience.

Requirements for Role of Sales Manager GCC

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, or a related field/equivalent diploma.
  • Essential: 2-3 years of work experience in UAE leisure segment or attractions industry handling GCC market.
  • Desirable: 4+ years of work experience in/or within the hospitality/leisure industry handling GCC market.
  • Experience in account management.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in UAE market working on GCC region.
  • Experienced in DMC road shows and confident in conducting presentations.
  • Experience with joint marketing activity with GCC partners.
  • Experience in business development.
  • UAE driving license.

Skills And Knowledge Desired

  • Fluency in Arabic with good written & spoken English.
  • Understanding of sales cycle for DMCs, OTAs, TOs and Wholesaler clients.
  • The ability and desire to sell.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of MS Office.
  • Fluency in any other foreign language.
