Role in Maintenance in Kidzania at Emaar in Emaar Square Bldg. 1, Dubai, 191741, UAE will be responsible for oversees the personnel in charge on the execution of tasks within quality standards and time as well as provides technical support and assistance in all machinery, equipment, vehicle and other hardware utilized to assure uninterrupted daily operations. This is an Entry level full time job. And salary can range between 4000-6000 AED/month.

• Ensures the secure opening of the facility through the checklist.
• Conducts corrective and preventive measures on installations, machinery and equipment to minimize expenses and maintain the safety of the facility.
• Supports and monitors in the refurbishment of new and existing establishments.
• Supports in closures of Mystery Shopper Audits and all other internal and external audit points and provides completed reports.
• Manages inventory of supplies, materials and segregates combustible materials.
• Prepares purchase requisitions, service requests and follows up for deliveries and completion of jobs.
• Aims to improve machinery and equipment in order to optimize costs and improve the operative conditions.
• Ensures appropriate assignment of maintenance staff according to the priority of the job and in the established form and time.
• Schedules timely meetings with staff to address issues or situations of each area .
• Prepares training calendar, suggests external trainings required for empowerment of staff, provides basic training to staff on the technicalities of machines, equipment or systems.
• Oversees jobs conducted by third party contractors and performs minor repairs.
• Behaves in line with the Code of Conduct Policy and adheres to applicable company policies and procedures.
• Complies with health and safety policies.
• The job holder works closely with operations, projects, maintenance team to complete tasks according to timelines and ensures all third-party contractors comply with regulations.

Requirements for Role of Role in Maintenance

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience in maintenance or facility management department.
• Minimum 2 years experience and background in electrical, mechanical and carpentry fields.
• School completion plus at least 1 year additional certificate on related discipline.
