Responsibilities of Product Designer
- Prepares final Packaging design.
- Prepares final Layout design.
- Maintains all updated files for the creative services team, functioning as a Library keeper.
- Finalizing files and artworks for all the jobs with pixel perfection and speed.
- Adapting artworks into many sizes.
- Incorporate quick changes recommended by the clients into the final design within the constraints of time.
- Ensures all work produced adheres to specified corporate guidelines.
- Prepare file for printing upon request; identify the size and the form with customer’s file.
- Develop graphics and material for presentations upon art director request.
- Carries out work as briefed, unless variations to brief are requested.
- Coordinate with the creative team of art directors and designers.
- Prioritizes work in order to meet deadlines in a dynamic fast paced environment.
- Ensures work is checked and signed off before releasing.
- Retouches images when necessary.
Requirements for Role of Product Designer
- A Bachelor degree in a relevant creative discipline, i.e. graphic Design, design.
- At least 5-7 years’ experience in artworks adaptations and finalization for Printing press.
Skills And Knowledge Desired
- Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
- Understand the value of color, materials, and finishes as it applies to design.
- Creative, Flexible and High attention to details.
- Time management skills.
- Good communication skills
- Show the ability to perform well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment.
