Manager Policy Development GMG Dubai

GMG is currently on the lookout for a dedicated and strategic Manager Policy Development to join their dynamic team in GMG Building ,Umm Hurair Rd, Oud Metha, Dubai, UAE. Candidate will focus on crafting, executing and managing policy frameworks that align with their corporate governance and operational excellence. This position represents an exceptional opportunity to influence the strategic direction of GMG by ensuring our policies not only comply with legislative requirements but also support the mission of making the world better. This is a Senior level full time job. And salary can range between 15000-35000 AED/month.

Responsibilities of Manager Policy Development

  • Lead the creation and revision of policy documents to reflect external regulatory changes and internal strategic shifts.
  • Engage with key stakeholders across the business to ensure policy alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Facilitate risk assessments to identify areas requiring new policies or updates to existing policies.
  • Policy Implementation and Oversight: Monitor and report on compliance with policies, conducting regular reviews and audits.
  • Oversee the implementation of policies across all levels of the organization, ensuring compliance and understanding.
  • Develop and deliver training and communication plans to support the roll-out of new or revised policies.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage in consultations with external stakeholders on policy matters as appropriate.
  • Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure policies are legally compliant and effectively mitigate risk.
  • Manage internal communication strategies to keep all employees informed and engaged with GMG’s policy framework.

Requirements for Role of Manager Policy Development

  • A bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, Public Policy or related fields.
  • 8 years experience in policy development with in a similar role, ideally within retail or a related sector.

  • Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively at all levels within the organization.
