IT Internal Auditor IFZA Dubai

The primary role of an IT Internal Auditor at IFZA is to evaluate and ensure the effectiveness of an organization’s technology controls, systems, and processes. You will focus on identifying potential risks, ensuring compliance with regulations, and making recommendations for improvements to enhance the overall security and efficiency of technology operations. You will act as an objective source of independent advice to ensure validity, legality and goal achievement.

Responsibilities of IT Internal Auditor

• Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments of technology systems and processes, identifying vulnerabilities and potential areas of improvement.
• Compliance Management: Ensure adherence to relevant regulatory standards and industry best practices.
• Process Improvement: Collaborate with IT team to enhance technology processes, controls, and policies.
• Audit Planning: Develop comprehensive audit plans considering the organization’s technology landscape and potential risk areas.
• Communication: Effectively communicate audit findings, risks, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Eligibility Requirements

The eligibility requirements for role of an IT Internal Auditor are as under:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Advanced degrees (Master’s, MBA) are a plus.
• Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) certification is highly desirable.
• Additional certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Information Security Manager (CISM), Certified Internal Auditor (CIA), Certified in the Governance of Enterprise IT (CGEIT), or Certified in Risk and Information Systems Control (CRISC) are advantageous.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in technology auditing, risk management, or a related field.
• Experience with auditing tools, methodologies, and assessing diverse technology environments.

Skills Desired

• Familiarity with the specific industry’s technology challenges, compliance standards, and regulatory environment.
• Proficiency in written and spoken English.
