Job Overview of A Director Policy Department
Formulate, implement and evaluate policy and strategy to achieve Department goals and make sure that these are in line with Dubai Government regulations.
Your Job Duties As A Director Policy Department At Dubai Culture UAE
- Supervise the preparation and development of the strategic and operational plan, KPIs & budget for all activities of department.
- Familiarity with strategic directions of the Dubai government and all provisions and legislation.
- Prepare policies & procedures to manage strategies and institutional performance.
- Evaluate the set policies & procedures with the laws and directives of Authority.
- Supervise preparation of policies that aim to develop the Authority’s business in line with development movement of Emirate of Dubai.
- Conduct studies and research on set policies & then collect / evaluate necessary data to make policy recommendations.
- Supervise the process of preparing policies according to best practices and bench marking.
- Implement policies approved by concerned departments and ensure strict adherence to it.
- Follow up of results and outputs of work policies application & analyze its challenges.
- Communicate with various departments regarding review and updation of policies.
- Periodically review and update data base of policies, forms and procedures.
- Supervise work shops on the methods of preparing policies, forms and procedures.
- Review and report on projects & activities of the Policy Department and submit reports on its performance to line Manager.
- Follow up implementation of operational plan, measure performance indicators of the department & submit necessary reports to senior management.
- Evaluate overall performance of department & propose improvement plans in light of standards of quality adopted by Authority.
Who Can Apply?
Qualification
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration.
Experience
- Minimum 7 years of experience in same role.
Nationality
- Preferably UAE national.
