X-Ray Aide Radiology, Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City UAE

Responsible for providing administrative and patient support to the department, managing and assisting in activities that relate to facilitating the flow of work in the department. Also responsible for performing any other work as assigned and conducting administrative tasks in support of the department.

Duties of X-Ray Aide General Radiology

• Maintains stock of consumable items.
• Helps with procedures such as biopsies.
• Makes sure the working environment is clean and hygienic.
• Prepares patients for treatment, including lifting patients.
• Checks the equipment and report faults.
• Inputs data in the system.
• Acts as chaperone to female patients for male technicians.
• Assists with appointments when require.
• Contacts patients to confirm appointment.
• Maintains internal schedules.
• Coordinates administrative support.
• Undertakes follow up actions for meeting coordination.
• Modifies and maintains any other data bases related to own departmental activities as assigned.
• Prepares worksheets and charts as directed.
• Complies with any regulations related to mentoring, training, and development of UAE national staff.
• Provide optimum patient care
• Complies with SSMC mission and vision.

Who Can Apply?

Qualification

• Required: Diploma or equivalent in any field.
• Desired: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in any field.

Experience

• Required: 1-2 years of a relevant experience.
• Desired: Experience in a large healthcare facility.

Skills Desired

• Proficiency in Arabic & English language.
• MS Office and computer proficiency.
• Good management skills.
