Job Description

Responsibilities of Wholesale Client Services Senior Specialist

  • Be responsible for complex client onboardings within Commercial Banking (CMB)
  • Liaise and coordinate with clients and internal teams for completion of onboardings in line with the Wholesale CDD Global Line of Business Procedures (GLoBP) and local requirements
  • Optimally manage and be accountable for the case completion volume’s whilst maintaining quality and compliance at all times
  • Provide SME guidance and support to the RMs, team members and other colleagues to effectively manage FCR (Financial Crime Risk), escalating where appropriate to Financial Crime Compliance (FCC)
  • Act as the conduit between the business (senior leadership and RM), Digital Business Services (DBS) , product partners and risk stewards to ensure a smooth implementation of journey for clients
  • Encourage the effective and efficient use of the digital tools available for case management, providing feedback on technological improvements and ‘best in class’ production management and resolving issues as necessary
  • Ensure a consistently high-quality and professional customer experience at all times, supporting a culture of client-centricity
  • Review and complete all local, global or FCC directed CDD (Customer Due Diligence) and Onboarding Reviews and de-risking activities established by the Wholesale CDD GLoBPs and role/local expectations
  • React to customer surveys (internal and external) to refine and improve service and use the Tone of Voice guidelines.
  • Manage and prioritize work-in-progress pipeline appropriately ensuring early intervention and corrective action to achieve KPI and SLA targets
  • Support/Implement the continuing development or transformation of the Wholesale Client Services operating model.

Requirements of Wholesale Client Services Senior Specialist

  • Graduation degree is a must to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit.
  • 6-8 years of experience in similar role.
  • Experience of building and managing complex relationships with significant customers.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Knowledge of AML & Sanctions Compliance risk management requirements and understand how to operationalize policies and procedures for managing risk
  • Significant experience managing operational functions
  • Relevant product knowledge for CMB customer groups and able to demonstrate operational and risk management experience
  • Knowledge of Regional Wholesale Client Services technology such as CRT, SmartServe, ClientSphere, HUB
  • Past working experience in a relevant role knowledge of financial crime risks.
