Responsibilities

  • Unload goods from trucks and shipping containers.
  • Check labels, dates, and quantities using RF devices.
  • Move items from staging areas into proper storage sections.
  • Prepare orders for delivery by sorting and loading items.
  • Follow warehouse standards for safety and organization.
  • Label items and store them where they can be easily accessed.
  • Assist in keeping the storage area clean and well arranged.
  • Look over shipments on arrival to catch errors or damage.
  • Package products neatly before they are sent out.
  • Track items using company processes and digital tools.
  • Support the team with general warehouse duties as required.
  • Take part in regular inventory counts.
  • Follow guidelines to reduce mistakes and delays in dispatch.
  • Lift and handle products safely to prevent damage.
  • Shift pallets as needed between delivery, staging, and storage.

Requirements and Qualifications

Education

No formal education required; basic literacy and numeracy are helpful

Experience

Previous work in a warehouse is useful but not mandatory

Skills

  • Able to handle physical work throughout the shift.
  • Can operate RF scanners or willing to learn.
  • Works well with others and takes direction.
  • Pays attention to detail when labeling or sorting.
  • Knows how to manage time during busy hours.
  • Basic communication skills for warehouse coordination.

Knowledge

  • Understanding of warehouse safety standards
  • Familiar with how stock is received, stored, and shipped
