Job Purpose of Warehouse Assistant

Receive, store & distribute supplies, components and equipment in a timely manner, complying with company HSE policies.

Duties of A Warehouse Assistant

• Assist in shipping or receiving supplies when needed.
• Read warehouse documentation to determine which items are to be moved, gathered or distributed or shipped.
• Move received items to appropriate areas.
• Record amount of materials or items moved into computer database.
• Assist in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Assist with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received & disbursed.
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
• Responsible for operating the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and reporting any equipment maintenance or problems to immediate supervisor.
• Assist in pulling out of materials from the inventory location for packing and shipping.
• Perform other work related tasks as assigned.
• Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedure.

Qualification & Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree.
• 1-2 years of previous warehouse / stores experience.

Skills Desired

• Basic computer skills.
• Fluent in oral and written English language.
