Job Description

This Waiter/Waitress job at Shangri-La Dubai is a full-time on-site role for polished, guest-obsessed pros who deliver 5-star dining with Burj Khalifa views. You’ll run a busy section in the main restaurant, private dining, or banquets – greeting VIPs, upselling specials, perfect table turns, and creating “wow” moments every shift. Shifts are 9–10 hours, straight or split, 6 days a week. Pay is AED 2,500–3,200/month basic + AED 2,000–4,000/month average service charge & tips = AED 60,000–90,000/year tax-free + accommodation, flights, medical, 30 days leave, and staff travel perks. You need luxury restaurant or international 5-star hotel experience and fluent English. It’s a high-energy gig for charismatic servers who love Sheikh Zayed Road glamour and one of Dubai’s most iconic hotels.

Waiter/Waitress – Food & Beverage

Responsibilities

  • Run a full section flawlessly.
  • Greet and seat guests warmly.
  • Work 9–10 hour shifts, 6 days/week.
  • Upsell specials and beverages.
  • Deliver food and drinks fast.
  • Handle guest requests with smile.
  • Set and clear tables perfectly.
  • Support banquets/private dining.
  • Maintain 5-star grooming.
  • Achieve mystery shopper scores.

Requirements

Education

High school.

Experience

1 year experience in Luxury restaurant or 5-star international hotel.

Qualifications

  • Can work in UAE (hotel arranges visa).
  • Fluent English (Arabic/Russian/Chinese big plus).

Skills

  • Silver service polished.
  • Work split shifts flexible.
  • Remember regulars’ names.
  • Stay calm when busy.

Knowledge
