Job Description

Hotels/Restaurant industry is currently seeking enthusiastic and customer oriented individual to join their team as Waiter/Waitress. Responsibilities of Waiter/Waitress

  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner.
  • Present menus to guests and make recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and relay them to the kitchen and bar staff.
  • Serve food and beverages promptly and efficiently, ensuring high standards of presentation and quality.
  • Anticipate guests’ needs and respond to their requests promptly and courteously.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of tables, dining areas, and service stations.
  • Process payments accurately and efficiently, handling cash and credit card transactions.
  • Collaborate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure smooth coordination of orders and timely service.
  • Assist with setting up tables, chairs, and decorations for special events and functions.
  • Adhere to all food safety and sanitation standards, as well as company policies and procedures.

Requirements of Waiter/Waitress

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience of 1-2 years as a waiter/waitress or in a customer service role preferred but not required.

Skills and Knowledge Desired

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to go the extra mile to ensure guest satisfaction.

  • Knowledge of food and beverage menus and the ability to make recommendations to guests.
